just a stitch

From SHOWstudio's exhibition Practice to Deceive: Smoke & Mirrors in Fashion, Fine Art and Film, these hand-stitched "fire screens" from Jenifer Corker are so clean, simple and stylish. I've always enjoyed embroidery (there's something so satisfying about finishing a beautifully stitched line) and Corker's work has inspired me to create a fire screen of my own.
